Legal implications

Pink-Wales works closely with relevant Government Agencies with a view to regulating activities within the WEEE recycling industry. Numerous pseudo companies have been formed with a view to offering a recycling service for redundant IT equipment. However, works carried out by such businesses are in many instances unethical, unlicensed and may leave companies disposing of equipment open to prosecution.

(Waste Carrier license). This number is not transferable and is never sub-contracted out. Should you find this number on transfer notes or displayed on other websites not relating to Pink-Wales, please let us know, or forward details direct to the Environment Agency.

Pink-Wales is the trade name of Computer Displays UK Limited. Pink-Wales offers it's trade as a specialist recycling company, providing services for the disposal of business related waste. Services within the WEEE sector are carried out using licenses registered solely to Computer Displays UK Limited. No works shall be contracted to or sub contracted to other companies purporting to trade in or be licensed for the treatment or carriage of Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment.

 

Corporate Identity, identity theft, trademark infringement and infringement of copyright:

 

Pink-Wales and it's parent company, Computer Displays UK Limited vigorously defends it's Brand, any associated trading rights and licensing (numbers or otherwise). To this end:

 

The Company and it's associated trade names reserve the right to pursue persons or companies found to be breaching any UK legislation. Pink-Wales shall police and report persons purported to be trading within the WEEE recycling sector in an unauthorised or unlicensed manner.

 

Copyright infringements, use of licenses granted to Computer Displays UK Limited or it's subsidiaries for the purpose of carrying out trade of any form other than by it's employees will result in legal action by the parent company or relevant UK Agencies.
